Steam maintenance is system maintenance
Waterline behavior, feeder activity, low-water cutoff operation, pigtail condition, pressure controls, vents, returns, and visible leakage can reveal problems before a no-heat call or boiler failure.
Hydronic pressure and flow checks
Cold fill pressure, expansion-tank condition, circulator operation, air elimination, relief discharge, zone controls, and temperature response help show whether the system is circulating and controlling expansion correctly.
Maintenance does not hide repair needs
A leaking section, unsafe venting condition, failed safety control, chronic make-up water, or deteriorated piping requires correction. Maintenance identifies and documents those conditions; it does not make unsafe equipment acceptable.
